Franchise Candidacy Information

  • Our selection of prospective candidates is based on an assessment of overall business experience and personal qualifications.
  • 1. An entrepreneurial spirit and desire to succeed with prior business experience. Fitness industry knowledge and experience is preferred by not required.
  • 2. Sound reputation, integrity and similar business values as Gold's Gym Franchising Canada.
  • 3. Strong business acumen with an ability to fully develop the Gold's Gym brand in the chosen market.
  • 4. Working knowledge of the market proposed for development
  • 5. A willingness to devote full-time best efforts to the day-to-day operations of a fitness facility.
  • 6. A willingness to complete a comprehensive training program and become proficient in all aspects of operating a Gold's Gym facility.
  • 7. Gold's Gym minimum financial requirements for an individual or group are a net worth of at least Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000) with Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000) in cash or equivalents.
  • 8. A complete understanding of the Gold's Gym business model.
  • 9. We offer complete training and a turn-key operation.
